ABOUT MR. WEBB
I have been teaching in the Clio District since 1998 and have taught 5th grade my entire tenure with Mrs. Sir (formerly Ms. Meyers). Mr. Richey is now part of our team once again. We were a three person team many years ago for a period of two years, so we have all taught together at least one point during our instructional careers. I've earned a Bachelors of Science in Education degree and a Military Science degree from Central Michigan University, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Saginaw Valley State University with a middle school endorsement. I was the head coach of the 8th grade football team from 1998 until 2000. I was also the head coach of and started the 8th grade boy's baseball program with Matt Brown at the middle school from 1999 until 2015. I currently hold a paramedic license from the State of Michigan and have been a paramedic since 1992. I have been a police officer since 1996 and am currently also employed by Genesee Township Police Department (Mt Morris, Kearsley, Genesee, Beecher, and the north end of Flint areas) as a police officer. I have served my country in the United States Army from 1998 until 2003 starting off with the rank of private (light infantry MOS 11B) and finishing with the rank of captain (light infantry officer MOS 11A) as the company commander of an air assault/infantry unit, infantry training unit (commanding drill sergeants), and then commanding an S-1 section. I also have two children (Megan: Class of 2016, and Evan: Class of 2018) both of whom graduated from Clio High School with varsity athletic letters. For Megan: softball (district medalist) and Bruin Club Classic selectee (@ Mott) for top graduating area high school softball players. For Evan: baseball, and tennis (regional medalist) with five varsity letters in total. Both were also Mott College Scholar dual enrollment graduates during high school, National Honor Society members, four-time academic letter awardees each, and highest/high honors graduates respectively.
